The Citibank World Elite™ Mastercard® Ultime Credit Card is available free of charge for the Clients of Citi Handlowy who maintain an average monthly balance of PLN 3 million with the bank and hold a Citigold Private Client Personal Account or when the value of cashless transactions executed within 12 months with the Citibank World Elite™ Mastercard® Ultime Credit Card totals at least PLN 180,000.
The card is also available against an annual fee of PLN 1,200 for Clients who do not meet the exemption requirements.
The insurance coverage under the Travel Insurance for the holders of Citibank Mastercard World Signia Ultime/World Elite Mastercard Ultime credit cards issued by Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. is granted by Inter Partner Assistance S.A. with its registered office in Brussels, operating in Poland through its branch Inter Partner Assistance Oddział w Polsce [Branch in Poland], ul. Prosta 68, 00-838 Warszawa [Warsaw], a company of the AXA Group. The Client concludes the Travel Insurance Contract for the holders of the Citibank Mastercard World Signia Ultime/ World Elite Mastercard Ultime credit cards issued by Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. with the insurer and the Inter Partner Assistance S.A.
The Bank acts as a Policyholder in the insurance contract and offers the Clients a possibility to sign a group insurance contract concluded by the Bank and the Insurer. The scope of Bank's responsibility covers providing the Insured with information about the terms and conditions of the insurance and, for contact by phone, verifying the client’s identity and forwarding the call to the Insurer.
In the sales and whole life insurance service processes, the Bank applies the principles provided for in the “Recommendation of Good Practices in the Polish Bancassurance Market for Whole Life Insurance Policies Linked with Bank Products” issued by the Polish Bank Association (ZBP).
